Vie Infecte and the Carré Rouge recording credit
Vie Infecte is the Carré Rouge recording behind the altered lettering in the early credit. The song belongs to the French rap catalogue around the original Taxi soundtrack and later appears on Le Rappel. The two release contexts give it a particular place in the French rap catalogue.
The song in the original catalogue
The original Taxi physical-release tracklist credits Carré Rouge with Vie Infecte. The later licensed Le Rappel edition preserves the same title and performer, placing the song within a continuing recording catalogue rather than leaving it attached only to a film compilation.
The performance has the density of a rap scene being described at close range. The voice carries the detail, while the backing gives the phrasing a steady setting. The title’s harshness is part of that atmosphere.
Two release contexts
The soundtrack appearance belongs to 1998, and Le Rappel provides a later album setting in 2003. Those are different points in the song’s circulation. The performer and title connect the soundtrack chapter to the later album catalogue.
