Soul Mechanic: a credit in the radio archive
Soul Mechanic appears here on a Global DJ Broadcast recording whose surviving title stops at Live @ Global DJ Broadcast on. It is a fragment of a programme credit, with the date and original running order still missing.
The programme is documented
Markus Schulz's own account dates Global DJ Broadcast to 2002. That establishes a genuine setting for the archive label, but does not identify every guest on an incomplete recording. A mix can also contain work by many producers, so its programme credit should not be read as a list of the musicians performing every track.
A similar name, a separate question
Soul Mekanik is a documented project associated with Danny Mekanik and Kelvin Andrews: their own Wonk history names the connection, and Danny's Magic Flower EP includes two Soul Mekanik tracks. Those primary sources establish the project, but they do not certify that this differently spelled radio credit belongs to it. Until the original broadcast or guest announcement can be matched, this page keeps the surviving Soul Mechanic attribution and leaves that identity question open.
