The 2006 release
Tom Jones’s own contemporary announcement dates the Globe/Universal single to April 2006. The release brought the singer together with Chicane’s Nick Bracegirdle around a specific electronic song, extending the producer’s history of working with strong featured voices.
The original campaign included a radio edit, a longer commercial mix and treatments by Vertigo and the Young Punx. Those versions offer different routes through the same vocal material, changing the instrumental scale while preserving the performance at the centre.
